Garth R. D. Tait is a founding principal of Crestone Partners and has been active in real estate brokerage, development, acquisition, facility management, property management and investments since 1979.  Mr. Tait is responsible for all construction and leasing for Crestone.   Mr. Tait began his career with Torode Ltd., a Canadian commercial real estate brokerage firm.  In 1980 he moved to Denver as principal in charge of the Denver office.  In 1983 he left Torode to work on the development and disposition of over 800,000 square feet of Denver office and retail properties.  In 1984 Mr. Tait opened the Denver office for Silverbrae Commercial Realty and acquired 100% of the firm in 1993.  Silverbrae managed and stabilize distressed real estate assets for recapitalization or sale.  Silverbrae also handled leasing and construction for 1.3 million square feet of Denver Place office space until the asset was sold in 2007.   

Garth is a graduate of the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce, with an emphasis in finance and marketing.  He is past Vice President of the Colorado Ballet and is a former board member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
