David G. Meares is a founding principal of Crestone Partners and is the firm's Chief Financial Officer. In his role as Crestone's Chief Financial Officer, Dave is responsible for all of the financial activities of the organization and oversees a substantial portion of the asset management functions, including administering construction management activity and related financial reporting. Dave is directly responsible for all of Crestone's risk management, financial statement preparation, financial underwriting, and loan administration. From 1996 until he joined Crestone, Dave served as Vice President – Finance for Amerimar Realty in Denver. From 1990 to 1996 Dave worked for Coopers & Lybrand, LLP. In his position as Assurance Service Manager, Dave was responsible for supervising and developing audit teams serving diverse industries, including publicly traded corporations and small private investment trusts.

Dave graduated from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado in 1990 with a Bachelor of Sciences – Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting. For the past nine years Dave has kept active as a girls soccer coach for the Colorado Rush Soccer Club in Littleton, Colorado.
